I know all about the foolishness of building a race car, I have purchased 2 previous cars (ITA CRX's) and had great results.
Fab skills are pretty unlimited so I would be envisioning an engine change, etc. I have one sitting around that sucks as a street car but I somehow find the car completely awesome looking and would love to find a place to race it. It would suck to build something and then find that everyone was pissed about it. The other factor is how competitors would feel about it. Also, not sure about the "sedan" part, it's shaped exactly like my Fox with very similar rear seating, not sure why it would be defined differently.
IMO, It's only hurdle for the rules as written would be the rear suspension (mac-strut). OK, so we all know this is a re-badged Mitsubishi Starion but.Īs a Chrysler does it fit in the rules? Keep in mind the Camaro is built in Canada and the GTO is built and was (mostly) engineered outside the US.
